Becky & Andrew Sagar have been running Taste Devon since 2012. Starting with two catering vans delivering to a small number of businesses in Exeter, we now have four vehicles delivering to over 120 businesses daily along with an established corporate catering business.
Our growth the past 5 years is a reflection on our fantastic team and our reputation as a flexible, reliable catering business offering consistently great food. If you are organising a corporate event big or small get in touch on 01392 445555 and we will be delighted to wow you.
Andy’s official role is head of kitchen. However he has also acquired many new skills since starting Taste Devon and is now the first point of call when there are vehicle issues, broken ovens and general fixer of the unfixable!
Becky deals with corporate menu designs, web presence and office admin. Becky also helps delegate tasks to our four year old Sebastian who is always very eager to help and quite the expert on washing vehicles (along with spraying whoever else is walking past).
Baby Finley has yet to be designated a job but is showing promise in cardboard box flattening ready for the bins.
Alex has gone from college, worked through the restaurant trade and then he found us! Although he traded in the antisocial hours and long split shifts, he hasn’t lost his passion for cooking. His attention to detail and time awareness is second to none. Also he is a lovely chap with a fantastic sense of humour and many a time has had the entire team in stiches!
Maryanne may look familiar because she owned the Whipton fish and chip shop for many years. She has evolved a fantastic banter full rapport with her customers and we are very lucky to have her. She is honest and trustworthy but will knock you into line if you put a foot wrong!
Jan is possibly the bubbliest and happiest character we have ever come across! She may look familiar also because she used to run the café on Paris St in Exeter. Jan is naturally warm and caring and will go out of her way to help anybody out.
Richards attention to the clock means he is never late for anything, a trait that goes very far in our book. He is a fantastic asset to Taste Devon. His chirpiness first thing in the morning and throughout the day lifts everyone’s spirits! At the weekends Richard also has a children’s disco business and from our personal experience, if he can generate and cope with a room full of happily screaming children he can take on the world.
